I am a Pole. Left Poland in my 15's and lived in UK for 17 years. A week ago went back to Poland. Before that I was so anti-pole etc. but while I was in Poland I made more friends than in UK over the past 3 years. Food was much better in comparison to what you paid. People were very friendly, since I have a bit of french/spanish/italian accent English are a bit prickly when I talk to them. I have PhD in Physics and it upsets me that people that I don't know in UK just treat me like dirt because of my accent. In Poland no one assumed my status... everyone treated me like another human being. I work very hard. During weekend I spend time doing extra courses to make myself better but the more I spent here I think people just don't want the king like us. I don't blame them. I would not want more Brits that run butt naked in Krakow in Poland. I truly hate Brits. One day they will have to falter.
