It's a combination of factors. I think the media influences have hurt men and women and the intersexual dynamic in general on both sides. Took me my entire 20s to get over a lot of overt negative ((programming)). Then a lot of reading and self improvement to detach from a lot of the covert stuff.

The other main issue is economic.
