All conservative propaganda serves the long con of stuffing more money into the pockets of the very wealthy. It's the only core belief of America conservatives. Everything else is a distraction.

Take a look at immigration. Lots of handwaving and fingerpointing at illegals, but no consequences for companies who exploit illegal workers. Stop hiring illegals and you stop having illegal immigration.

Liberals want to expand welfare programs, which would increase taxes for these people you belittle so often. They also want trade to be globalized which would lower costs of manufactured goods, but it would put countless Americans out of a job. Poor people in red states don't vote R because they love the rich - they vote R because democrats made a big list of priorities and us "rural retards" are at the bottom of it.
