If you're working on the floor as an average joe workman you'll get $15-18 an hour which gets you pretty far in tuscaloosa. If you go to shelton state community college you can enroll in their partnership with mercedes and after two years you're basically guaranteed a $35-40 an hour position as a floor mechanic.
