Das Kapital fails really early on. It basically says that EVERY comercial relationship in a market is exploitation.

Like, I hired a couple of guys to restore my grandfathers old home. Put some new floors and fixed the roof. Now that home has more value.
I paid the workers whatever they charged, it was a fair and mutual comercial deal, but if I sell the house and I make a profit, according to Marxist analysis, I exploited their work, the profits I make are "unpaid wages".

Also, lets say you raise pigs in your farm, you have fixed cost for doing that (pig food, water, maintenance of their space, etc), the sum if those cost is the price of the pigs, according to Marxism. What it doesn't account for is market behavior, what if people just don't feel like eating pig? Demand is lower, so in order to sell you might need to lower your prices, for Marxism that's exploitative for the farmer. And if people feel like eating more pork today? Well demand rises, in order to keep a guy hoarding all the pig and re-selling it, you raise your prices, that would also help you buy more space, and food and help for raising more pigs.
But for Marxists that price hike is exploitation of the consumer.

That's why in Cuba is illegal to kill cattle without explicit government permission and supervision, and that's why meat production fell so much from the pre revolution years.

So I did. Everything I learned is that he proposed a thesis of certain mechanisms which eventually lead to revolution which eventually lead to socialism. But his whole thesis is incredible full of flaws. I think he himself never intended his work to be used as framework for an political ideology... There are other people who turned out to be more prophetic and influential accurate like Cohen and Foucault.
