Every hospital in the country can accept and admit mental patients wanting help. The problem is the fucking crazies don't know they're crazy and refuse treatment.

I actually read an interesting article about a homeless alcoholic who got admitted into a hospital for delirium tremens, and forced to stop drinking during his stay there. (the article is written by his doctor)

He was actually a pretty smart guy apparently and he told his doctor that it's a lifestyle of complete freedom. As long as you are okay with having very low standards of hygiene, and sleeping in the cold, you basically have a life free of any kind of responsibility, concerns or troubles. All you do is wander around and get drunk with your friends.

After a few months he escaped from the hospital and he was never seen by his doctor again.

i dont know about USA


but in many other countries is not because the government dont have where to put them. it is because of ((( human rights ))) associations, together with ((( psychology ))) councils prevent mayors to take homeless people (usually all addicted to drugs, or with mental condition) through "use of force"

I used to be homless,
From 18 untill i was 24
If your not on drugs or alcohol the homeless life can be great
I traveld all over europe hitch hiking for years ,
All i had was a small bagpack ,
A sleeping bag and a tarp
Sleeping on the street is not hard at all,
In the summer i would go north to sweden and norway
In the winter i mostly stayed in spain and greece
Now i am a wagecuck and i miss the freedom of being homeless
Somtimes i wish i would lose my job and house so i can be on the street again

Says the guy who has never experienced being depressed and down on your luck most of the time or during critical periods in your existence. It's a good thing the concept of family support is strong here in my country or I would've already ended up homeless and crazy when I was in the lowest point in my life. I'm no leftist, I hate people who just want to ask for free shit all the time but you can't deny the other side of the coin as well. There are just run of the mill losers and the plain unlucky whom are cast aside and end up homeless.
