I will divert more energy into a job I like because I spent 8 years in Primary School being prepared for Secondary School and 6 years in Secondary School preparing for LIT, and the 4 years I spent in LIT for my CAO courses, which was all needed getting the job I dreamed of getting.
I am happy going the extra mile in my work because it's something I've driven myself to do ever since I took interest in the career. Whether my employer asks me to do so or whether I'm going to do so.
You have this very narrow view of how things work. I suggest you actually get a job you like and apply yourself before thinking your worldview works on others.
