We didn't need federal regulation to maintain neutral treatment of data, sites, and services for the ~30 years the internet was running before the FCC regulatory rules. Network neutrality didn't *suddenly* come into existence in 2015, it's been the de facto standard since the beginning.

If Comcast decides to cross that standard, it does so at its own peril. This isn't the 90s where every city only had access to a single ISP - low-speed startups, satellite internet, and mobile internet have become commonplace. I live in a city of less than 10K people and I can choose between a cable internet provider, two DSL providers, a satellite provider, and three mobile providers. If you don't give people the service they want, they'll go to someone else who will - that's the free market, baby.
