My plane can already land itself in conditions that no human pilot is capable of landing in. that's 0 visibility and a cloud ceiling of 0 feet. Basically fog where you can't see in front of your hand.

There's quite a bit more to flying than landing/taking off.

Also: trains run on a set schedule and a single track and still have a driver.

Could work. Really advanced software could automate the whole judicial system in theory. Plug in the variables of what happened, it analyzes the law and finds the relevant sections and options. It's a terrible idea because the Rothschilds will just pay the programmer to become even more law-proof, but whatever.

Any programming experience helps, but just a basic understanding of how systems work. Extensive knowledge of both the OSI and TCPIP models help. Find a layer or two you're comfortable working in and get to know them inside and out.
The rock star side is ofc pen testing either for private or gov't entities, but just being a analyst can be rewarding as well.
There can be some jobs that demand on call or CERT expectations, but other than that it's all niche based shit.
You could find a company that writes strictly in Python and test their products after they're compiled for vulnerabilities. Cyber is going to grow pretty big very soon, and although I see some AI or automation being put into play with it, nefarious humans will always be needed to look for cracks in the wall.

US medical professionals work MUCH more than their European counterparts so they earn more. This may change as more US doctors want to earn less and work "part time" (ie. 40-50 hours a week like most people).

Still their salaries are a very small percentage of overall cost of the US medical system,

This site conflates all parts of the advice chain as financial advisors

The actual advisor can not be replaced

It's the paraplanners (Those who actually write plans) and the work required in developing strategies that will be replaced by machines

The problem is that means that advisors will need to be smarter, and there will be fewer steps to work up to it.

Personally I am a paraplanner and I fully know that within 5 years my job will be defunct, at least in major firms (and when major firms are able to massively outpace smaller firms, the smaller firms will die) but I don't plan on being here for the next 5 years

I have no idea how people are going to become financial advisors in the future because there is currently a pretty clear progression path where you work your way up to it but automation is going to remove all the bottom rungs which you need to do to get experience

Depends on the type of person you are. I'm not a nurse, but a lot of my family is. If you are a night person and are good with long bursts of work, it can be great.

My one cousin works I think just two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and they pay her for 36 hours I believe. My mom's boss regularly calls her and tells her if she comes in for a 4-hour shift she'll pay her for 8 hours, or give her a flat bonus of $150 for the shift.

Nurses are in high demand and get paid so well, especially in shitty facilities if you are willing to put up with it for the dough. I'm young and in my 20s, and I have no problem staying late in the office pulling 10-12 hour days when we are busy. If I could just work 12 hours for two or three days in a row and then have the week off that would be lovely.

I'm not denying that major parts of the sector are going to be replaced

What I'm currently doing is grunt work that can be done by a machine, I knew that when I took the job and I am only hear to gain experience so I can move somewhere else. My boss even told me when I took the job that I shouldn't stay too long and is fully aware that I will be leaving in the future.

I just fear what that means for people entering the industry in the future. There is a lot of work required to be a [good] advisor and I just don't get how It's feasible that people in the future could get into the industry without going the lawyer or doctor route, the problem with that is the wages of advisors would need to raise massively to compensate for the increased amounts of study and work experience required to make it.

I work on geometric group theory. Basically that means that I study symmetries of geometric objects (surfaces, for example).

There are hundreds of other pure math topics that people work on nowadays. If you're interested to know what they are just take a look at Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Areas_of_mathematics).

The website was made by faggy IRL Big Bang Theory kikes.

They said 79% of motorcycle mechanics would be replaced. Absolutely absurd. Not possible.

Basically anyone who works for a living will be replaced and anyone who doesn't (engineers, computer fags, etc.) is totally good.

Of all the things that should and can be automated, surgery is at the top. Many doctors are already making use of computer controlled tools to assist in surgery. The only thing holding back the robot takeover is image recognition.

Even knowing how people can screw up at times, being in the medical field myself, I'd still want a fucklot of evidence to trust a robot to cut me open.
Besides, medicine has that whole human element that a robot can't provide. I'm not worried.

> Chef, 10%

Calling bullshit. Fast food joints sure, but cuisine is always evolving, and without taste buds, robuts can't cut it.

Also, cooks are already in huge demand in my area, all the tech sector millennials with tons of disposable cash can't cook for shit, and restaurants are popping up everywhere with less and less skilled hands around to staff them. We've already sniped two dudes from other joints.

True, but robots can't climb trees.

There's too many variable factors. Trees die and fall all the time in an infinite amount of ways.

At best you'll get automation on tree farms which we already have for the most part. What took 20 people forever in the 1800s one guy can do in a feller in a day, but only on tree farms and simple enough terrain.

its not that simple
i still think we need like, at least 20 years for robots to take over. Realistically, 40.
range of motion that human hand has, feel that it provides and general knowledge and experience a surgeon has, is, at this time, and close future, non replaceable.
I can see a lot of automation, but no full replacement
