You all are very unimaginative in how a second american civil war could start. At this point, most of us have seen (pic related) explaining why the US government would never risk a civil war. Unfortunately, the situation has changed. With Trump in power, whether we like him or not, the Right is now considered the government. And as such, with the US presenting the most pressing and viable threat to the Global Elite's chokehold on the West, it is possible that they would consider hitting ctr-alt-del on the US preferable to allowing further expansion of the burgeoning right-wing movement. The first thing many point out in such a thread is that they see now means for the left to win a civil war due to the greater militaristic culture of the right. (more guns, outdoorsy, veterans, etc) This is a gross underestimation of the capabilities of the enemy that we face. They will not start a civil war without the intent to win; "winning" in this case is not limited to a sucessful coup d'etat, but could take on many forms so long as it is conducive to their overall strategies. We also make the mistake of assuming that there will be clear impetus and divisions in such a war; likely measures will be taken to either dissuade members of the right from taking up arms against them, or subverting them such that they fight against their own principals. Example of this would be faking evidence for a Trump impeachment; if believable enough, much of the military would fight for the left, putting their own principals aside to fight to "protect" the Constitution, not knowing that they are just shoring up the Left's takeover.

If there were to be a revolt/civil war in the CONUS we would see the end of all pretense of constitutionality and a complete collapse of the world as we know it. There would be a replacement of all state assemblies, courts, and governor offices with federal replacements or direct military rule; state national guards will be absorbed into the federal military or simply dissolved. Martial law and curfews as well as strict rationing of fuel, electricity, and other commodities would become the norm, leading to black markets and even more outright surveillance of economic exchanges (up to and including a ban of all hard currency in transactions). Internet service will simply disappear as ISPs won't be able to operate under increased electricity rationing. Universities will close or go on indefinite hiatus, bank branches will likely close save for one or two within major population centers, airports will be closed to clear airspace for the military, train transportation will likely become the norm, etc.

Most companies would simply cease operating as the impact upon the world economy would be devastating. Oceanic shipping would grind to a halt and the highways wound likely be emptied to make way for American military transports and carefully searched food and fuel trucks. You will need to apply for internal passports in order to be outside your assigned area.

The vast majority of the suburban and urban populations will be helpless to fight against these measures, or more likely, they will embrace them with open arms. Rural populations out west will likely find a higher degree of liberty but will suffer by the disruption of transportation. It depends.

No. there was more to the Bosnian thing. People may hate Trump but that doesnt mean they would hate the government or wanna revolt. It's not so black and white either. USA has a bunch of different shades on both sides. Also important to understand out of everyone in the country, only 20% really ever vote for the sitting president. Alot of people dont vote and those that dont might be with Trump simply because they dont care. So let's take that into account. Let's say there was a revolt. Taking these numbers into account, the most youd have that support the revolt would be close to 25%. Those actually fighting, you'd be lucky if you got 15%. Needless to say they would not last. Not to mention who ever revolted would need military support or else they would be totally wrecked by U.S. military. And the military is pretty supportive of Trump.
