Hungary got fucking rekt. They tell you to get over it but damn, losing that much territory is just historically unprecedented. I believe it was completely unjustified and was actually deliberately set up in order to destabilize all of central Europe and sow the seeds for another major conflict. Had Hungary remained intact, it would have been significantly more powerful militarily and there is a good chance Hitler would have avoided open conflict with Poland for fear of fighting on three fronts, thus avoiding WW2.
