Because it rapes the economies of developed nations by ripping out the industry and sending it to other places. This leaves the developed nation's middle class in a precarious position.

Then immigrants also flood in to the developed country, straining its institutions and creating an ethnic and cultural mix that is less capable of supporting the advanced culture. In the end the middle class is gutted, the society is poorer, there is more corruption due to less social cohesion.

It's just a race to the bottom, where the worst countries in the world are rewarded and the best countries are pulled down to that level. The only people that benefit long term are the industry owners that paid the politicians to create globalism in the first place.

Borders and other kinds of boundaries between nations keep the money and jobs and power where they are. If we wake up tomorrow and suddenly collectively decide "LOL FUCK BORDERS", all the jobs instantly go to Chinese sweatshops and all the uneducated, uncivilized third world animals make a beeline for the west. The entire world homogenizes, which would be great for the third world shitholes, but terrible for anyone from the good countries.
