It's the other way around. The US is only 57% white and there is a general sense of being a "melting pot" or a "nation founded on immigration", even among conservatives.
Also, the amount of SJW and ant-white rhetoric is way higher in the US.

The Roman authors wrote that had the Britons united in the face of Rome's Imperial advance, they would have stood a good chance of repelling them and maintaining their independence. It's understandable of course, given that you can swim to the continent from SE Britain, such is their proximity. The tribes of the South and East had been trading with the Roman world for a long time, and developed a taste for the exotic goods available in places like Gaul.
