Seigel's statement that Clanton wasn't there seems to contradict the police court documents that have been on here that show the 5 specific charges and list the warrants issued and their results. The very first warrant they got was for his cell phone to confirm he was at the location at the time of the attack.

Siegel's isn't dumb or incompetent enough to not be aware of this, so he was doing what sleezy lawyers often do, lie thru acting like an idiot, claiming that there was no evidence his client was there.
