Property prices are increasing, homes are becoming nearly unaffordable for most, wages have not kept pace with productivity, property owners/landlords exert disproportionate power, capital grows faster than economic growth overall so capital owners continue to become wealthier proportionally compared to everybody else, all among more problems. It's called a bubble, and the market will correct itself. Save up money now, wait for the bubble to burst, buy low, and invest. Wait it out. Congrats, you just made a bunch of money years down the line. Capitalism doesn't work for people who don't know how to work the system.

"Fail" at what? Making you more wealthy than capital owners? That's what it's intended for, dumbass, and preventing control freaks like you from ever gaining economic power over anyone else is all it needs to do to be worth defending to the death.
