Remember, they're not sending their best. And a lot are illegal here in Iowa, and when they get found out l, entire cities come crushing down

From Iowa. Basically people worked there, got themselves or kids an education and left. Instead of raising wages to entice lower class whites to keep the town and plant alive they just import Mexicans who will do it for cheap. I remember a few years ago Obama got ICE to deport a whole bunch from one plant and of course it hurt the town when people were no longer buying tortillas & salsa. The thing is though plenty of whites would still do those jobs (like my uncle) if they paid better. The plant says fuck it and takes the risk with illegals instead. I know some plants down South have laws on the amount of workers that can be taken in a certain time frame so the plant won't shut down. They just keep refilling the workers after the others get deported. Pretty fucked.
