The problem with making people work for these benefits is that they will be completely unable to find the time and energy to get out of their situation.

If they're always working for their food stamps, they will be literally incapable of getting off of food stamps because they won't have the time to try and get better employment or education.

There is already a minimum part-time work requirement in order to get these benefits, but this Republican policy is going to trap even more people into this system.

This is already the case for able bodied males. I looked into food stamps when I was between jobs. As an abled bodied male, I could only receive food stamps for three months and then take a 33 month break from receiving them if I didn't work or volunteer at least twenty hours per week.

I don't have a problem with requiring people who can work to do so or at least be actively looking for work to receive benefits but the current rules are bent to benefit women. Also counties can apply for a waiver on the three months on/ 33 months off requirement. All of the black majority counties around here (metro Atlanta) have waivers. So it's really only white males who are expected to work. Females and blacks can sit on their asses and get food stamps forever.

He developed a brain tumor on his frontal lobe which went unnoticed for a few reasons. The government refused to give him disability benefits despite being literally unable to work. He would get random seizures that resulted in him waking up in a hospital without memory of how he wounded up there. Every time it would freak him out.
Meanwhile, Joe PD le Jaque was receiving 500 a month for not having a job. Which he used that money to buy beer, drugs, and rent. He would talk about how well he is on B.S, how school is a waste of time and people are dumb for going to it. The government gave that sack of shit money, while my friends friend went to court to get disability.
After 2 years of in court foolishness(at which point 4 years since diagnosis) he was given disability status and prescribed new, expensive medications.
He died a week after moving out of his uncle's. Hitting his head while in a seizure.

That's a problem with niggers, not so much the scheme. We're doing the same here and companies can basically hire new interns indefinitely. You get one guy for six months unpaid internship, then the trial time ends and you just don't renew the guy's contract. Then you just get a new intern. Benefits the company but not anybody else. On top of that, all these third worlders that are flooding in are pushing the salaries down so that it doesn't even make sense financially to take certain jobs because you'd have to collect social security anyway. They could even set it up as a job Bank where employers and even Dispatch unions could call when they're short guys. Before 9/11, my union would give high paying careers to guys standing on the street when they didn't have enough of their own guys to fill jobs.
