I've been working in NYC for a year and a few months. We haven't had Spring here - It's been damp and cold well into the end of May.

Planning on moving out ASAP. The weather here compared to my home in North Carolina is enough to break my soul in pieces.

Because the people who came to America originally integrated into a singular society and held a set of morals and laws above their previous culture, as such they would identify as just American. People are too divided in America atm, there are some who place their ancestry above the morals of the country which divided people based on skin color and ethnicity as a result. Modern multiculturalism doesn't work since the groups are hostile towards others. If you want to see what modern multiculturalism has done to countries go look at Sweden and how they are now the rape capital of the world, and that happened because they let these 'refugees' in without restrictions.
