When I was a serious Christian, Paganism was worse than atheism to me and I don't think Poland or Russia need any Pagan help.

There is no significant difference between atheism and paganism. You would be choosing it because of the continent it originated on, not because you believe it. If you wanted to choose it because it would continue tradition then you have the problem that greek/roman paganism or nordic paganism would be equally foreign to the majority of Europe as Christianity. If you were to have everyone follow their own gods then there is no unity and suddenly there is an infinite amount of made-up gods, with every man making up his own.

I can't claim to be knowledgeable about either religious class fully. I was raised Roman Catholic and the only real knowledge I have of pagan religions are from TV programs that barely cover their main points much less the intricacies of the religion.

However speaking just for me, I have to lean more towards the multiple god's in nature approach than the singular god we learned about in Sunday school.

I don't mean to sound like some kind of hippy here, but I spend a LOT of time drunk in the woods, and after a while you just kind of get this feeling about places and things that I can only describe as divine. I'm sorry I can't help you out more than that, but my mind is full of more ideas than my vocabulary has words so I just can't explain it well.
