Portland's mayor is urging the organizers to cancel and wants the permit revoked because of the recent Max stabbings, saying the timing is bad. Personally, I think it couldn't be better.

Berkeley turned into a battle because the ANTIFA friendly mayor and cops thought that leaving both sides alone would result in ANTIFA victory. Leftists can only win when the cops they hate so much protect them.

Portland has potential to get interesting since the far left and right have decent numbers, especially outside of the city proper. The cops won't let it escalate to actual happening status.
