Everyone has forgotten the reason why some women opposed the right to vote, opposed the couverture system...it's because liberation meant they would have to start paying taxes.

It should have naturally declined like the Unions did: Even though many were socialist scum, they accomplished useful goals like a shorter work week, safety policies (no locked doors, fire escape, no child labor). But when they were no longer needed, they mostly dried up and blew away.

Modern feminism is idiotic, it's basically the faction that always existed as a minority within their movement: Those who use it as an excuse for bad behavior...drinking, drugs, group sex/hookups/lesbianism etc.

First wave feminism had issues too. They all have issues. First wave feminists were intolerant of women whose version of feminism was that they wanted to be housewives and mothers, or work in traditionally female professions, even. At some point they began to realize that this was stupid and that true feminism should mean that every woman can seek whatever future works best for her as an individual, without being unfairly restricted or limited because of her gender. True feminism is realistic and compassionate; some women will never want kids or be good mothers. So don't force them to do that. Some women might want to be firefighters but aren't able to acquire sufficient physical strength to work in that profession; oh well, men suffer disappointments too, like say a guy who longs to be a physicist but is shit at math. Yet true feminism would also allow that one rare woman here and there who IS strong as fuck to be a firefighter if she wants. Etc. And true feminism doesn't hate men at all; they're the other half of the human race, we need each other. There was a time period where I saw the kind of feminism I just described beginning to develop in the west, but then toxic SJW activist commie third wave rad fem took over and everything was completely fucked from that point. Feminism is just a strain of liberalism. This all started with rich white aristocrats and merchants overthrowing or undermining their rightful kings because of "natural rights" and "equality". Problem being, once you unleash the idea that government can be forced to enshrine 'innate' rights of certain peoples, and enforce the 'innate' social equality of certain peoples, you inevitably end up with the idea that government should enforce ALL peoples having innate rights, and everyone being equal.

Democracy already pitches groups of people against eachother, women having the right to vote is only an extention of that, not the problem. The underlying problem is that democracy creates conflicts between every thinkable groups within society. This then gives rise to the football-team mentality, where the people align themselves with different elites supposedly fighting for their in-group, rather than standing united and keeping the authorities accountable.
