My Imam says I should follow Mecca time, which is what he does. I live in Luleå so it wouldn't really be possible otherwise. This is my first year celebrating Ramadan since I converted (to get married to an Iraqi girl, her parents wouldn't allow it otherwise) 2 years ago.

It's actually quite healthy. Fasting will keep your blood sugar levels more stable which reduces the risk for diabetes, chronic fatigue etc. I have many non-muslim friends who fast during Ramadan for the health benefits.
