I'd argue it is not dependent on privilege but how motivated a person is to succeed. The tools are there, just take advantage of them.

There are sometimes situations that hinder a person's ability to get things done, such as taking on more responsibilities or a job as a kid in order to support your family. However, there are also ways around that which I'm sure the school could help with. Most schools (I'm sure all) have libraries, and if not there are public libraries as well (which probably have computers too). Wealth is a privilege to get into college, but most colleges also offer free rides if you show commitment and educational talent in highschool.

is the seating randomly shuffled beforehand, or is the seating by choice of the students? The students in the front have a history of being invested in the system, they want to succeed. The students in the back are there by choice.

Economic privilege is very real and the only real privilege in the world. For example I know some 'muricans whose parents pay for college and others who need to work two jobs AND maintain a scholarship for the same thing.

Race privilege, gender privilege etc. doesn't exist or if it does it's absolutely minute compared to the privilege of the money you're born into. e.g. a black guy born into a rich black family is MUCH more privileged than a white guy who can't afford anything nice because with minimum wage he can only scrape by daily while having taking care of his ailing mother.
