/pol/ redpill me on AI

Won't robots take our jobs like immigrants do and help the globallists retain their power to monopolize the economy?

Are we all fucked?

>Gets ai to do shit work and farming for us
>all humans sit on their asses for eternity because the robots do everything for them
>die out

Yes it is truly a dystopic future that were headed to.

Ted Kacsynaki was right all a long.

There are only two final endgame scenarios with AI.

1)It sees us as a parasite and purges us
2) it sees is as a precursor, and puts us on reserves or zoos, Or as a sort of pet.

Once it gets to the point of Hollywood AI, it will have no need for us, But until that point, automation will reduce low skill highly repetitive jobs, either forcing the populace to all become very highly skilled to survive, we enter gibsmedats apocalypse, our populations will be forced to reduce to support levels, ironically because we are too efficient to pay enough folks in or current economic system, or we somehow become a utopia where the machines allow for extreme early retirement by bringing costs to zero or we go full gommunism and do the whole "work if you want to" schtick.

AI could wipe out all subhumans. So..
>> Are we all fucked?
No, it is our salvation.
>>
Doing tasks for human is not AI.

That's just a programmed robot. AI is when it learns on its own. There is no need for that, unless some evil turbo nerd scientist wants to create a replacement for a better love doll.
>>
>>127562750
Partially sentient robots won't take our jobs for decades. You'll have until 2050ish to attain job security, and your children will mature with the development of this AI.

>>127565866
You're forgetting that sentient AI will develop over time and with humans (artificial neural implants should always be considered).

Most people only envision the biological or the cybernetic advancement instead of both. AI will develop with humans until it inevitably outpaces us (within a couple decades of the progression starting).

AI can only replace jobs that can be automated at this time. Currently, any job that requires any original or creative thought cannot be automated.

>take our jobs

There is no question that the nature of work will change and different skill sets will become more valuable while others will become less valuable or completely redundant.

New technology actually leads to the breakup of older power structures and the creation of newer ones. Look at the death of the old media due to social networking for a recent example.

All jobs can be automated.

Robot technician here

Robots creates more jobs than you think. Robots are designed to collaborate with humans at this point. Replacing human with robots has already been done 30 years ago now

Robots aren't going to take your damn jobs. Yet.

Is your job simple, repetitive motions? High risk

Is your job complex, intricate motions that rely on manual dexterity? Lower risk

I've been a mechanical engineer in manufacturing and robotics for the last 14 years. Technology improves but there are still pitfalls and limitations to what can truly be automated.

I have designed over $200M worth of systems. Most systems that I have designed moved operators to more demanding positions such as machine tending, post-inspection, and operations that aren't cost-effective to automate.

Robots have limitations that most people don't understand. Sensors get expensive. Even if you have a concept, someone still has to design and program it. It's not as simple as calling up Mom's Friendly Robot Co and saying "I need a robot that automagically does _____."

Trust me. It's way more involved than that. Especially when the customer keeps changing their damn minds and data as you're working on their project.

We're decades away from a concerning level of automation. I'm gonna ride that wave to retirement
>>
>>127570594
This is truth.

People see robots as job replacement but they should consider it as job DISPLACEMENT.
>>

This, except for

>New technology actually leads to the breakup of older power structures and the creation of newer ones. Look at the death of the old media due to social networking for a recent example.

It'll still be Jews. Old media? Jews. New Media (facebook and 4chan)? Jews.

It's Jews all the way down.

>government will try to regulate factory and union positions for the 'it took our jobs'
>fail miserably in the face of captalism and cheap ai production
>efficiency will bring wealth and surplus to gov and industry
>as unemployment rises universal income will become a human right
>suicide becomes major epidemic as people become directionless without a purpose
>war ensue in undeveloped povo countries with lack of natural resources and technology
>human population reaches equilibrium with abundance of resources. The end.
