This is common knowledge. Women are soft and emotional. Tens of thousands of years (and millions before that in pre-homo sapien forms) of caring for the youth while men provide food and shelter and make decisions for the tribe doesn't just go away in an instant. Women can't make any tough decisions. They act on their motherly instincts that simply don't work in world politics. Not everyone can be happy at once, that's not how it works.

Hard to say. My wife always votes the same way as me. We choose one political party in Slovakia, and then we can also give 4 preferential votes to individual politicians. I just give her a slip of paper with the id of the political party and who should get the preferential votes. She never wanted to vote independently.
