Islam can't even rule itself. The only 'successful' muslim nations got that way by completely betraying the supposed fundamentals of their own creed (usually involving taxation or warring with other muslims).

This prosperity lasts as long as it takes for a radical religious uprising as the slimes seek to establish a more hardline islamic state, only for it to inevitably crash and burn and plunge the country into chaos as local warlords gain strength and start attacking their own population.

Islam was a meme religion drummed up on the spot in order to fight oppressive Persian landlords. Well guess what? They did it. They got rid of the fucking Persians. They took their land, they took their knowledge, and later declared it to be their own doing and named it 'Islamic Golden Age'.
