I highly doubt that. If air superiority had been achieved, British attrition rates would have easily outstripped that. Assuming Churchill refused to relent, assuming he maintained his desperate notion that he could gas his own people and the enemy without facing arrest or a mutiny, the British would have been broken at that point. It wouldn't just have meant an end to British ability to project offense, it would have meant the end, period. At that point, it was a question of how much the Germans wanted to bomb them without resistance before risking a landing. That's how serious air superiority would have been.
