You can literally just not pay the hospital? I find that hard to believe.
What about children you are legally responsible for them so what then

Capitalism?
Oh, not much longer and you fall to a negro category, a thirl world country. After civil war, it is happening sooner or later.

I'm sorry you find it hard to believe because you saw the opposite posted on facebook.
Look up your state's law on it if youre so concerned.
I can usually settle hospital bills for 10-20% of the original cost when my family goes, so the hospital isnt taking as hard of a hit as theyd like you to think.

If you are late on a hospital bill the doctor has the option to sell your debt to a debt collector, they notify you first, and usually only after missing a few months, as long as you pay something it can just be 1 dollar a month they cannot send it to a debt collector. If you just decide not to pay it, the debt collector gets the bill, and will call your house every day to try to get you to pay it, they have 7 years to take you to court over the bill, most of the time this won't happen unless it is an outrageous bill and the debt collector will end up taking the loss. That is how hospitals deal with non payers.
Certain states have laws that protect people that refuse to pay medical debts, and if you decide to not pay, it does not affect your credit score.
