Field : how to use differential geometry and SDE (stochastic differential equations) to solve some optimization problems.
For pros : when you suppose there are arbitraries, and suppose all sellers are rationnals, then you are compelled to move on a manifold.
I am working with a huge bank, they pay me for my PhD. Kinda cool.

Why are you on /pol/ when it sounds like there's much more productive stuff you could/should be doing?

Trump's son is also browsing /pol/, same for Julian Assange.
I have a day off today, and decided to shitpost a lot.

What do you think of Category Theory? I'm doing my PhD in doing stuff related to it and Type Theory.

Explain to a retard what "Analysis", or whatever that super-high-level math course (above calculus and differential equations) is for.

Is it possible to become mathematically-minded at 28 when you have given up working with numbers many years ago?
How many hours a day to change your brain?
Also what bank are you working with?
>>127512343
I've done very few ultra-abstract algebra or logic, so I can not tell you anything about this.

"Analysis" means, in maths, approximate, increase, decrease.

> Is it possible to become mathematically-minded at 28 when you have given up working with numbers many years ago?
Mathematically-minded yes, you may become as smart as a 1st or even 2nd year student in maths if you work hard and read 45min a day about it (except those who done Maths55 in Harvard).
The will to change your brain is like whiteness, it's a state of mind. Logic is difficult, same for rationnal thinking, it's normal to read, read, read again a concept, a proof you misunderstanded.
I'm working with BNP Paribas.
