I was born in 82 and I think I remember how awesome the 90's were. Racial tensions actually weren't as bad as they are today. The 90's were no where as dark as the 60's through 80's because no more missile crisis.

It was easier to get a high paying, middle class job without a college degree. Many jobs weren't outsourced at the time (electronics production and other manufacturing), less third world shit skins, everything didn't cost so much (especially gas). Even with a shit retail job I could afford an apartment with my girlfriend and money for college.
