Would eliminating corporate taxes and establishing a flat or similar tax attract businesses and successful businesspeople to a country or place? Or is that just a meme to benefit rich people?
>>127491429
It's a meme that would just cuck over the poor and middle class and make the rich richer.
>>127491429
haha no
>>127491429
Normie political cartoons are so retarded, I can't wait until every boomer who reads legacy media dies
>>127491429
USA has one of the most complicated and retarded TAX systems on the planet, even in history
Taxes should be made so easy that even someone with an IQ of 75 can do it, correctly, 100% of the time in under 30 minutes.
>>127491791
Yup, because normiebook reading millenials are the fucking solution.
>>127492585
So much this. I'm so glad my taxes are so simple I can bang them all out in about 30 minutes, but on the other hand that means I'm a failure at life for not needing to file 30 different extra schedules and hire a kike to handle everything for me.

It would. Companies prefer not to set up shop in unstable places like Mexico and the Philippines but they do so because the savings outweigh the risks. They'd prefer to produce where they sell (US is the largest market in the world for most goods) to cut on costs and ensure your property is not at risk of suffering due to massive political shifts or upheavals.

>It's a meme that would just cuck over the poor and middle class and make the rich richer.
>all historical tax systems where flat taxes that lead to our current prosperous state
the rich get richer regardless as they just use all the loopholes they make for them self.
>>127491628
Why do people think this? The rich pay the same amount relative to what they earn.
>>127493585
because people only can see the absolute and that triggers them.
>>127493585
Marginal utility, $16000 is worth more to a person earning $20000 than $160000 is to a person earning $200000

I'm not big on pissing on the rich just because they're rich, but this is one of the areas where I'm all about a progressive tax rate. I remember when I was wondering month by month where I was going to get that last $50 to pay the bills. Now that I live comfortably, I'd be happy to just outright give somebody $50 in an act of charity.
Although to be fair the income tax should be eliminated altogether, since it doesn't actually fund anything.

Why do cuckservayives suck wealthy cock?
>>127494223
Yep it should just be consumption taxes and use taxes. Poor people can get fucked.
>>127491429
russia have flattax.
>>127495570
Better than sucking poor cock
>>127495670
Does it work well there? Flat tax has always been a curious idea to me, even though I've never been convinced at a theoretical level that it would be a good idea.

>eliminate corporate taxes
>eliminate political donations from corporations
>eliminate lobbyists
>eliminate PACs, SuperPACs, and similar
Okay you have a deal
Yes it one hundred percent would. Economics is initially counter-intuitive.
Like cutting capital gains taxes actually raises govt revenue. And raising corporate taxes lowers wages.
You can't expect normies to swallow a pill like that though.
>>127491429
The meme is assuming that middle class people paying less in tax makes them poorer which is what leftists believe.
>>127496099
>muh theoclassical economics
Not counterintuitive, just obscurantist faith-based propaganda.
