I was looking at dogs on a shelter website the other day. It was one of those shelters that like people to fill out applications to make sure they are good fits for the dogs.

I couldn't help but notice EVERY SINGLE PIT BULL they had listed was listed as a mix. Even ones that were completely obvious pit bulls. You don't see this happening with other dogs. They think that the only way to get them adopted is to lessen the damage by lying about their breed. It's almost sad. Even the shelter staff know this.

Anytime there's a dog attack in my small city or nearby towns I wait for 3 o 4 days to search for presence on the dog attack stats.

It's very hard to know because the peopel that make those never answered my emails asking for details on their numbers.

The few I have seen with some kind of detail were never including the attacks on my city or towns neraby.
