I would say he should get between 3 to 5 years based on the charges that he can't defend. It looks like they want to make an example of him...so, I'd say he's definitely not getting off. But, he has a private sector lawyer, so that will help a lot. A lot of it will depend on the judge if it goes to trial. If it goes to trial then it's safe to say they got a favorable judge. I doubt they'd ask for a jury trial, unless the judge is terrible. Most likely they will agree to lesser charges with the prosecutor (plea out), in that case he will get less than 3 years. If he gets a year or less he will not go to prison, he will go to local Berkeley jail and just have fun with fellow violent hippies watching tv and playing cards and spouting the evils of capitalism for a year.
