Going into the last ballot soon, and Bernier is in the lead by about 2%. I don't know much about Scheer or his position on many subjects. Anyone able to enlighten me?
Scheer is okay but a bit too socially conservative. Still less obnoxious than Leitch and not a pseudoconservative like Chong.
Bernier is good but too extreme. But I think he would be great leading a minority government.

I'm thinking from the looks on their faces that Bernier lost. We will see.

If Scheer is too socially conservative, it practically guarantees another Trudeau win.

He seems pretty open-minded, though. He doesn't support marijuana legalization, but he said once it's legalized, he knows a lot of businesses and new employment opportunities, so he won't repeal it.
If he wins and comes across as a reasonable, transparent, and honest leader, he can put Trudeau in his place. Trudeau's honeymoon took a while, but it's definitely over.

*he knows a lot of businesses and new employment opportunities will open up
I chose Bernier as #1 and Sheer as #2. Would prefer Bernier as he can pull Quebec. Scheer will have to tone down his soc-con stances if chosen as leader anyways. He's a former speaker of the house and has good connections throughout. I prefer Bernier though, liking his smaller government ideas and leaves out the soc-con stuff.
SCHEER CONFIRMED
Good job to both Bernier and Scheer. I'm glad the other meme candidates got BTFO.
Was hoping for Bernier, but will take it lads.
Congrats to Scheer. He's got good caucus support and is functionally bilingual so maybe he can pull some good Quebec support as well. Looking forward to building for a win in 2019.
