I don't understand, /pol/, why Libya's coastguard keeps firing on refugees in boats and interrupting the vital rescue process by which NGOs save the lives of innocent women and children fleeing oppression.

>European vessels that intercept refugee boats in international waters are obligated to bring those on board to Europe, according to Judith Sunderland, associate director for Europe at Human Rights Watch.
>In Tuesday's incident, two of the refugee boats were directed back to Libya by coastguard officers, according to Iuventa, despite being 14 nautical miles from Libya's coast and thus in international waters.
>"Certainly we believe that migration cooperation with Libya is deeply problematic," Sunderland said.
>"[The EU] should be doing a lot more to get people out of Libya in a safe way and a lawful way so they don't have to risk their lives to do so."

please point them out

I try not to assume genders of people whose pronouns I don't yet know, thank you very much.

Those NGO's are nothing but human traffickers larping as humanitarian efforts.

Based Libyans
This is becoming really, really tiresome.

I've heard claims of that from Italian prosecutors.

But it's hard to imagine that people with good intentions, like NGOs, could ally themselves with evil human traffickers. Still, that leaves unanswered the question of why the Libyan coast guard is firing on these innocent refugees, who only hope to save their own lives by fleeing from the violence and oppression of their native lands and seek sanctuary in the first safe place they can reach.

You heard it here first lads, stop waiting for the BBC to reach your shores, go to Libya and pick them all up.
Modern Europe is fucking despicable
Even worse, now comes the news that Drumpf and May have "hijacked" the G7 talks and turned the question of how to "propel the migration, refugee and hunger crisis to the top of the agenda" into talk about security and terrorism. It seems that May left the G7 meeting because of some domestic problems in Manchester and so could not properly address the issue of how to facilitate migration.

> The Italian proposal on migration, refugees and hunger was nuanced. It recognized that migration could not be stopped, nor should it be stopped, given that European economies are depopulating and aging rapidly.
How can Europe help the NGOs safely accommodate all 6.6 million refugees waiting to come to Europe this summer?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/23/66m-migrants-waiting-cross-europe-africa-report/
>Europe could face a new wave of migrant arrivals this summer, a leaked German government report has warned. Up to 6.6m people are waiting in countries around the Mediterranean to cross into Europe, according to details of the classified report leaked to Bild newspaper.
>They include more than 2.5m in North Africa waiting to attempt the perilous crossing by boat. Angela Merkel’s government has not commented on the report, which the newspaper says was marked for internal use only.

Someone hang this traitor

But, Europe's population is aging, and the childfree life appeals to today's young people, who are more educated and liberated than any generation before them and thus hope for more out of life than to start families. Against such demographic hopes and concerns, how else can Europe maintain a stable economy without importing new Europeans? And doesn't a peaceful and prosperous Europe have an obligation to help those fleeing from war and oppression, especially given Europe's colonial past?

>importing new Europeans?
but they aren't importing Europeans, they're importing subhuman 80-IQ monkeys who don't work

What better way to get away with crimes, by putting on a facade of progressive values so idiots will ignore or defend your actions.
