I hung out with their son a lot and spoke to the parents a lot. They did leave during the revolution but they were Persians. The mother was an atheist and the father was a Christian. Real Persians have Russian mentality/values, Japanese discipline/structure. Anything else is just trash that encroached on Persian clay.
