I think the reason why Varg clings so much to paganism is because Norway has been so irrelevant during their christian period while they were vikangz and shit when they were pagan. It's much easier to dismiss christianity and your christian ancestors if they aren't as famous. Meanwhile swedes were actually relevant and glorious during christianity which is probably why we are more keen to defend it. Am I right or wrong?
