EXACT same thing happened to me. Lived in the city for 35 years. Moved to the rural south 10 years ago and it all sunk in quickly. Being as far from non-whites as possible is better than anything I was experiencing in the city. The rat race literally dies when there are not shitskins. Things become sane and civil. It is a jawdropping culture shock.

I can absolutely see niggers if I effort the drive. This is a very rural area and it is very segregated. There is a tiny black enclave about 12 miles away and another across the river in a different state but there are more confederate statues than niggers in any direction where I live. It is quiet, mostly poor and white here. There isn't anything to do and it probably sounds like the living death to most reading this. Not so. For about $40k all in you could stop bitching about rent, crime, changing jobs every 22 months, niggers, public transit, noise, smells, hipsters. There is this entire world in America that is not hell, so long as oyu don't require constant stimulus. Thing is, you'd be part of a very unwanted transplant problem. I am careful to blend in and keep my head down. I may be white like the rest of the area but I'm still conduct myself as concerned about seeming an unwelcome outsider.
