It's easy to feel like /pol/ is a productive use of time as a source of quick and abundant information, but the stale bait threads, mock threads, atifa, pizzagate, and trussia threads are just the same shit over and over. A bunch of shitposting and shills thrown in, and a rare spatter of redpill threads and truly interesting things like western art threads, and viola. It's just so repetitive.

Thread hiding is a shift+click away for the shit tier content. Bread passes through often. All you have to do is jump in, get comfy, and break bread w/ fellow anons. There are tons of things in here that cause me to take notes and do further research. There is no place like this in that way. Even the racist ignorant threads have hidden gems...

IMO, one need have a sound mind and purpose before coming here so as to not get lost in the sauce. I'm sure a number of people come here and get lost. You have to have a strong head about you and come with actual understanding so you know what is bread and what is not.

It's an echo chamber for sure. But like >>127157142 said there is the occasional epic bread or happening, i think maybe that's what most people come here regularly for...just to check put whats going on. To me, this place is like a late night talk show...a social commentary on current events but what makes it unique is the fact that the commentary is uncensored - we say what everyone is affraid to say and we would never say what we think in public because of political correct culture. If you want to discuss real politics go to Reddit. This place is called politically incorrect for a reason. Also, if this place was like a casino it would trigger the reward mechanism in our brains on a regular basis. This place is shit and the reward mechanism's in your average/pol/ user has been broken long ago.
