People seem to ignore a few things:
If there's a god who's all powerful, then it is impossible for it to be both completely benevolent and omniscient. If God exists and his power is infinite, created everything and exists outside of time, then it isn't going to be interested in us, as we are insignificant compared to the rest of its creation.
If it instead actively created us and guided us, giving its commandments and doing all the miracles, then it isn't a truly omnipotent being, as an omnipotent being cpuld have shaped reality to follow its plans to perfection. If that were the case, God would be more equicalent to polytheist gods: A very poweful entity with a reason of its own, but not a demiurge, instead more of a moral guide.
Then there's the possibility that God is the universe itself instead of a separate entity.
