Protestantism was pretty great in its day, but its not worth much anymore. Its greatest strengths were in its hyper-realism and its literacy. Half of protestants only read the bible to come up with jesuitical arguement to defend their pet sexual perversions, the other half doesn't read it at all.

I don't feel good about this, I think protestantism was a vital and fascinating force that shaped my country, but its completely exhausted.

orthodox come in three varieties 1. superstitious peasants 2. ethnic chauvinists 3. closeted hipsters.
