In my mind, there are four possible solutions to the murder...

1. He was murdered by street thugs in a failed robbery attempt.
2. He was murdered by someone he knew for reasons not related to the DNC links.
3. He was murdered by a rogue DNC staffer acting without orders
4. He was murdered on the orders of DNC higher-ups.

While we are still waiting on facts to prove a possible DNC connection, I think it would also be of value to attempt to solve the crime with the assumption that it was a robbery gone bad.

In other words... if we assume that it was a robbery gone bad and try to solve it that way, then either we will solve it (and it wasn't a DNC hit), or we won't solve it (at which point we can rule out the robbery gone bad.

The NBC story someone linked talked about there being several robberies in the area. That suggests that there is a team of thugs working.

Has anyone checked that out?

Does the neighborhood have gang presence? If so, has anyone checked out that?

The bottom line is this... SOMEONE in the neighborhood knows the answer to this.

If it was a robbery gone bad, then the leader of the local gang would know who did it. And even if he couldn't be talked into turning that person in for the $100k reward, he would at least be able to confirm that it was a known street tough.

But.... if it was NOT a robbery gone bad, the same gang leaders would know that it WASN'T one of the local toughs.

Knowing that it wasn't related to street crime is, itself, progress.

Ha ha it was insane. By 3 a.m. I was delusional. I was freaking out at a post that I swear (((they))) changed to say it was me (it was not me) they were replying to--it had (you) after digits on the same line as usual, so I was convinced they were fucking with me and somehow got the system to do that. I took a dozen screen caps. Finally decided I better call it a night.

This morning, still spooked, I looked again. Some had simply put a (you) next to the digits they were sending a (you) to! And of course I never noticed last night the different text color. I guess sleep deprivation fed the paranoia.
