That's fallaciously attributing the merit of an argument with the character of individuals. Ideas are independent of people. Essence transcends things.

Ok? I will say one thing, to your point: Can an idea really be said to have merit if a lot of people know about it, and it still loses over and over and over again in terms of implementation? Forget for a moment that you can always just throw up the board by changing the axioms once you hit a conclusion that the average Stormfag doesn't want you to wise up to unless you become part of one of their dozens of secret societies. I assumed you actually wanted to get somewhere. People are loyal to ideas in the absence of people. The death of Hitler is exactly why you need to attack ideas, and not people.
