Any other britbongs fed up of the current political climate in the UK? I mean yeah, we got our Brexit. I can't help but feel like this general election is a bit too much. Was it a good move for May to call this election? Really? She already has her mandate for Brexit, backed up by over 17 million people, a lot of whom probably voted Tory partly due to their pledge to hold an EU referendum in the first place.
I cannot be bothered with another cycle of leftists telling me how disgusting I am for voting anything further right of fucking Spear Chukka. I should feel optimistic, as against all odds, the shit city I live in voted with the majority for Brexit - they are saying there's a huge chance of an upset here... And I do feel quietly optimistic, but that still doesn't stop the feeling of apathy. In the vague hope of removing the filthy Labour party from power, I'm going to be voting Tory - but for fuck's sake, I wish they'd stop shoving shit through my letterbox that repeats the "strong and stable" mantra a million times. It lends weight to the unwashed leftists that the right are unhinged, repeating the same old tired bollocks over and over again.
Share your thoughts, britbongs of /pol/. Anyone else have these feels?

I didn't vote because I refuse to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich

Well, I still think Corbyn would be the worst option. But May isn't exactly confidence inspiring.

I'm probably the other way around. I reckon May is just slime in heels, and while Corbyn is a bit of a fuckwit, he seems like an actual person. And not a bunch of rats in a sexy human suit

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Corbyn as a guy to go have a pint with is great. I admire that he's stuck to his guns on things for so long, but fuck me, socialism will not work in this country. Him, his black fuckpiece and his supreme shadow chancellor need to accept that.

Agreed. Things are fucked when you're forced to choose between a socialist pissbag who can't win and an overseer matron who's going to win anyway

Yeah. The only question is how big her majority will be. Like I said, I'm voting Tory here in the vague hope of kicking Labour out of power. This is what it's come to - voting for one thing because the alternative is worse. But it's still better than abstaining or spoiling your ballot.
