Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.

Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.

What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

>Communism is a stage of society in which the productive infrastructure is socially owned, and goods are produced not in order to sell for profit, but in order to meet a social need.
>Communism in it's full form is a stateless, classless society that follows the maxim "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need."
>To achieve such a society Marxism-Leninism teaches us that we must replace the capitalist state, which is controlled by the capitalist class, by a socialist state, which is controlled by the working class. Then, a period of class struggle follows in which the capitalist class is liquidated by the working class. When the capitalist class has been completely vanquished, there will be only one class, the working class, and eventually the functions of the state will become indistinguishable from the functions of the society as a whole, and the state as such will 'wither away' as Marx said.

ML uses a philosophy called dialectical materialism, see here:

It is recommended that you read some of the critical works of Marxism-Leninism so you can make an informed assessment of the ideology.

FAQ for washed liberal-morons and normal people who simply do not know much about communism:

1. Communism is the USSR.
The USSR is a socialist state, not a communist state.

2.1. Why, then, does the Communists all the time refer to the USSR?
Because the USSR is our historical experience of the practical construction of a communist society. We highlight the positive aspects of the experience of the USSR and study the negative experience. It is also worthwhile to understand that the USSR is for us a certain significant Symbol.

2.2 Communism is a dictatorship
Under communism there are no classes, accordingly there is no dictatorship.

3. What about the dictatorship of the proletariat?
The dictatorship of the proletariat is a temporary form of political power called upon to ensure the observance of the rights of the proletariat during the transition from capitalist society to communism.

4. But Stalin ...
With regard to the period of Stalin's rule, we can identify a lot of positive and negative aspects of his activities. But unfortunately, all-round propaganda has distorted the history of this period too much, therefore, without a comprehensive historical analysis of this period, it is impossible to draw unambiguous conclusions on the basis of ALL declassified documents.

5. And yet Stalin ...
We adequately perceive the figure of Stalin and treat him normally and without hysteria. Nevertheless, Stalin - though significant, but by no means the main figure of the communist movement.

6. What is the main figure, if not Stalin?
Marx

7. Ie you are not Communists, but Marxists?
Communism is part of Marx's teaching. At present, Marx's teaching has evolved into many directions. As for the precise definition, the terms "Communist" and "Marxist" often very much depend on the context.

8. Communism is the antithesis of democracy.
By no means. Communism is just a true democracy.
>>
9. Under communism - all work in the Gulag for workdays on 24/7.
On the contrary, the Communists set their task to reduce the number of working hours, by increasing the productivity of labor. Ideally, we should work for 4 hours in fully automated production, the remaining time dedicated to self-development, art, hobby.

10. But wait! This is a capitalistic post-industrial one!
You are deeply mistaken my young friend. This is precisely communism. And under capitalism you will not get it. Communism is the highest stage of development of society and economy and if capitalism is similar to what I described above, then it turns into communism.

>Under communism there are no classes, accordingly there is no dictatorship.
Dictatorship is one party rule, number of social classes is irrelevant.

>The dictatorship of the proletariat is a temporary form of political power called upon to ensure the observance of the rights of the proletariat during the transition from capitalist society to communism.
Temporary form that lasts forever and end goal of communism that never fucking arrives or has arrived in any socialist state.

>But unfortunately, all-round propaganda has distorted the history of this period too much, therefore, without a comprehensive historical analysis of this period, it is impossible to draw unambiguous conclusions on the basis of ALL declassified documents.
Khrushchev published a lot of government information on Stalin and Gorbachev published even more on Stalin, fuck off with your lies.

>Nevertheless, Stalin - though significant, but by no means the main figure of the communist movement.
Yet /leftypol/ can't stop posting Stalin all the time in their Socialist memes groups and on /pol/

>By no means. Communism is just a true democracy.
Supression of public opinion, heavy censorship, owning all the mass media channels and lack of any legislative transparency is not democratic. For fuck's sake, soviet union had laws that every judge interpreted "according to his communist conscience and convictions", how is that democratic?

>Ideally, we should work for 4 hours in fully automated production
>This is precisely communism
Top fucking kek, commies made Saturdays a work- and schoolday under Soviet Union because "people volunteered enthusiastically". Conversely, under communism you had to work even longer with absolutely no guarantee of your work being appreciated at all. Hitler was the only leader in history who implemented 8-hour-workday and ACTUALLY fucking tried to shorten/standartize the workday for everyone in the country.

>The USSR is a socialist state, not a communist state.
The USSR was a Communist state, it distributed resources based on need and abolished privacy.
>Because the USSR is our historical experience of the practical construction of a communist society. We highlight the positive aspects of the experience of the USSR and study the negative experience. It is also worthwhile to understand that the USSR is for us a certain significant Symbol.
There was nothing positive about life in the USSR unless you were one of the fat cats who ran the government. There are no glorious prospects to look at it was a society of slaves.
>The dictatorship of the proletariat is a temporary form of political power called upon to ensure the observance of the rights of the proletariat during the transition from capitalist society to communism.
Kind of like Stalin and Mao and how they stayed in power until death?
>We adequately perceive the figure of Stalin and treat him normally and without hysteria. Nevertheless, Stalin - though significant, but by no means the main figure of the communist movement.
Yes I can clearly see why considering he stays in line with the idea of executing people by the millions.
>Marx
A man who lived comfortably mooching off of other people, spending his time getting black out drunk and neglecting his children (Four of which died under his care) and on top of that he never met a hard day's labour in his entire life.
>Communism is part of Marx's teaching. At present, Marx's teaching has evolved into many directions. As for the precise definition, the terms "Communist" and "Marxist" often very much depend on the context.
Painting a chicken green does not make it a watermelon.
>By no means. Communism is just a true democracy.
In that case I want to stay as far away from Democracy as possible.

SOCIAL USSR ACHIEVEMENTS :

-First and totally FREE public education system, which achieved the highest rates of literacy in history in the 15 Soviet republics.
-Moreover, Soviet schools offered free food for students, so the work-life balance is made much easier than today in the capitalist countries. Even kindergartens were also free.

-First FREE and universal health care system, which increased the life expectancy of the Soviets, less than 40 years in 1917, to reach Western levels in 80 (70 years). The achievements of hunger eradication and health systems can also compare with the average height of the Soviets in 1917 (1,60 m) to 1980 (1,80 m). This health system discovered painless childbirth and performed the first organ transplant.

-Between 1945 and 1964, the Soviet national income grew by 570%, compared to 55% in the USA (and remember that the USSR was not a Marshal Plan to help the country)

-Invention of evening studies so that workers could build careers.

-First country in history where abortion was legal and free (since 1920)

-First country in history to achieve an unemployment rate at 0%

-Equality policies, one of the first countries to adopt women's suffrage

-First woman in history to hold a position in a government (Aleksandra Kollontai)
