No because a real civic nationalist only promotes positions that would help their country. In theory, they would be open to an assimilating and productive immigrant. In reality, few exist in the third world, and civic nationalists understand that immigration debases labor and culture, so the obvious conclusion is to let "socioeconomics" inform decisions and keep the borders closed.

It's basically the least racist way to promote an ethnostate: refer to economics and self-interest. If civic nationalism is about destroying the nation, then it was never nationalism to begin with. LARPing as Nazifags will never get you what you want, but promoting good immigration policy will.
