I think he goes hyperbolic on certain issues in order to drive it into peoples' brains, especially taboo or "fringe" but rational beliefs. Like there aren't many internet personalities who have as much reach as him and rationally arguing an extreme version of a certain concept/principle will persuade more people, and he feels a duty to change the hearts and minds of people who are listening to him so he just goes for it. I think this is why he stresses IQ, ancap, "tax is theft," etc. Obviously there are concessions to be made for real-life scenarios when you aren't arguing for an overarching principle, but that's what Jewy pilpuling relativists do with their platform.

And when he acts "over-the-top" he is using propaganda techniques and his experience with acting to engender certain opinions in his audience, it doesn't mean he's being disingenuous.
