It's a fantastic show specifically because it does not seek to either demonize or glorify faith, Christianity, or Reactionary politics.

Yet in watching it you see the struggle of a man to come to terms with the divine. Of all people to come to terms with the divine. The show does not answer for you if what Pius XIII does is right or wrong, merely that faith and values should not be treated lightly, or received without significant suffering and struggle.

I'm a Christian and I think calling it an anti-Christian show is preposterous. It's not redpilled because it doesn't need to be - it encourages you instead to be open to accepting a redpill, even if it's just on the scale of your own life. Amazing show.
