I'm old enough to remember the days of Johnny Carson, and more recently guys like David Letterman and even Jay Leno. I admired these guys because they made an effort to remain apolitical. Sure, they'd talk about politics and current events and such, and they'd jab fun at people, but it was always in good fun, and it was always fair and equal. There wasn't this bullshit like there is today where the late night comedians are basically just shitting out thinly-veiled propaganda for an hour each.
