Moreover, most diamonds come from 3rd world places with no respect for human rights. Virtual slaves haul diamonds out of the ground for warlords and normies later buy these as a display of affection. Beyond that, there are better and more meaningful ways of showing your love for someone than buying a rock that (unlike gold) is almost valueless after purchase.
